Thank you all for your support over these many, many years. Though I've been a longtime supporter and patron of Elfwood, they've suddenly deemed my work in violation of photography rules, even though I clearly state below that I have copyright to all photos and models have given complete consent for publication. Most of the mermaids are my wife! Obviously, there is someone new on the board who doesn't believe photorealism is art and/or they've completely missed my copyright statement.

I harbor no ill-will to Elfwood. They've been great to me for nearly a decade. I am in complete confusion however as to what rules I've broken after all these years.

You all have made me a better artist with your comments pro and con, and I'll miss you. I won't post here anymore, since it would take forever to repost my entire gallery. Please say hi to me at my MySpace gallery: MySpace.com/RussHorseman.

14 Oct 2006	Waterspirit	Loading... WOW! What can I say. I love mermaids and yours are really beautiful. I've loved mermaids sense I was 6 years old and I've never seen some so realistic. I love the colour for them. I'm still trying to learn how to draw. Hopefully I can be as good as you.

When i was a little girl i used to hear their call then i grew up but now it is the call of fallen angels for me but sometimes i still think that i can hear them but it too faint for me so try to help me understand then through your work it is beautiful and i don't think i have seen anything like it
